  • Alameda
    Across the Golden Gate, on the East Shore of the Bay. Includes the cities of Dublin, Oakland, Berkley, Hayward and more.
  • Contra Costa 
    Located in the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area. Some of the cities included are Clayton, Danville, Oakley and Walnut Creek.
  • Colusa
    Colusa is located in the center of the Sacramento Valley. Cites are Colusa, Williams and others.
  • Del Norte
    Located at the northwestern tip of California. Cities included are Crescent City, Gasquet, Klamath, Smith River and more.
  • El Dorado
    Located at the mideastern part of California, bordering Nevada. Some of it's cities are Lake Tahoe, Placerville, Georgetown and Lotus.
  • Glenn
    Borders Mendocino, Butte, Colusa and Tehama Counties. Cities are Orland and Willows.
  • Humboldt  
    Just off the coast, Humbolt county borders, Trinity, Mendocino and Del Norte

  • Lassen
    Located just off the Nevada state line. County seat is Susanville. Other cities include Bieber, Herlong and Ravendale.
  • Marin
    One of the nine bay area counties. Linked to San Francisco by the Golden Gate Bridge. Some of the cities included are Sausalito, Fairfax, Marshall and Stinson Beach.
  • Modoc
    Located in California's  northeast corner, bounded by Oregon to the north and Nevada to the east. County seat is Alturas. Cities include Cedarville, Eagleville, and Fort Bidwell.
  • Monterey
    Located on the northwestern coast, forming the southern half of Monterey Bay. Cities include Monterey, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, Carmel and many others.
  • Mendocino
    On California's north coast, north of San Francisco Bay area and Sonoma County and west of the Central Valley. Cities include Mendocino, Ukiah, Fort Bragg and Boomville.
  • Napa
    Northeast of the San Francisco Bay area. Cities include, Napa, Deer Park, St. Helena and Calistoga.
  • Placer
    Located in California's Sierra Nevada; gold country. It stretches from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe and the Nevada border. Cities include Tahoe Vista, Colfax, Kings Beach and Rocklin.
  • Plumas
    Formed from parts of Butte County in the 1800's, it is located in California's Sierra Nevada. Cities incllude Almanor, Crescent Mills, East Shore and Paxton.
  • Sacramento
    A prime agricultural region, Sacramento County covers about 994 square miles and is located in the middle of California's Central Valley. Cities include Sacramento, Antelope, Elk Grove and Walnut Grove.
  • San Benito
    Located in the California Coast range mountians south of San Jose. Cities include Hollister, Ridgemark and San Juan Bautista.
  • San Francisco
    The fourth largest city in California, located at the northern tip of the San Francisco Penninsula that forms San Francisco Bay.
  • San Joaquin 
    Located in California's Central Valley east of the San Francisco Bay area. Cities include Kennedy, Manteca, Stockton and more.
  • San Mateo
    Covering most of the San Francisco Peninsula, San Mateo County is just south of San Francisco and north of Santa Clara County.
  • Santa Clara
    The site of the area known as Silicon Valley, located in the San Francisco Bay area.
  • Santa Cruz
    Located on the coast just south of the San Francisco Bay area. Cities include, Santa Cruz, Twin Lakes. Boulder Creek and Live Oak.
  • Shasta
    Nestled in the Cascade Mountains in northern California. Cities include, Anderson, Big Bend, Redding and Shasta Lake.
  • Sierra
    Situated in California's Sierra Nevada northeast of Sacramento on the Nevada border. Cities include, Downieville and Loyalton
  • Siskiyou
    Located in the Cascade Mountians at the northernmost part of California, on the Oregon border. Cities include, Dunsmuir, Greenview, Granada and Mount Shasta.
  • Solano
    Located approximately halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento, in Central California. Cities include, Green Valley, Rio Vista, Fairfield and Vellejo.
  • Sonoma
    Located on the coast, north of the San Francisco Bay area. Cities include, Bodega Bay, Cloverdale, Sonoma, Santa Rosa.
  • Stanislaus 
    Located between Stockton and Fresno in the California Central Valley. Cities include, Del Rio, Grayson, Modesto and Oakdale.
  • Sutter
    Located in the California Central Valley, along the Sacramento River north of Sacramento. Cities include, Sutter, Yuba City, Live Oak and Tierra Buena.
  • Tehama
    Formed from parts of Butte, Colusa and Shasta counties in the 1800's, Tehama County is divided by the Sacramento River in Northern California. Cities include Tehama, Mill Creek, Corning and Los Molinos.
  • Trinity
    Situated amoung the Cascade Mountains, it runs along the Trinity River in northwestern California. Part of what is called the Trinity Triangle. Cities include, Hayfork Lewiston and Weaverville.
  • Yolo
    A relatively rural agricultural area which dominates some 90% of the tomatoe market in the United States. Cities include West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland and Esparto.
  • Yuba
    Runs along the Feather River, north of Sacramento in California's Central Valley. Cities include, Marysville, Olivehurst, Wheatland and Loma Rica.
